Humility enables us to identify priorities - those of our stakeholders, rather than our own. Assessing the genuine needs of stakeholders is the basis of creating value. We need to understand who our stakeholders are and what value means to them.
While confidence is important, we need to avoid arrogance. In this chapter we discuss how to achieve this balance and the importance of a mentor in guiding our development.
